The scope of the IT GEMS contract includes a full range of information technology (IT) services which include necessary hardware, software, and ancillary, components to support enterprise-level programs and environments. Support service areas include program management support, policy, procedures, and operations support, IT core services support, security compliance, customer and client services support, transformational IT support, and application migration support.
HOW A SR. IT ASSET MANAGEMENT LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Supports Transition-In and C.5.2.1 Asset and Inventory Management and Property Accountability.
Responsible for implementing and maturing the enterprise-wide IT Asset Management program, tracking all hardware and software assets from receipt, delivery, or acceptance through disposition.
Maintain accurate records in the Asset Management system and CMDB (e.g., ServiceNow) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Maintain the Deployable Technology List (DTL) and monitor and track warranty and software license agreements for all assets.
Coordinate with Site Leads and maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment and consumables at each location, forecasting future requirements based on usage patterns and business needs.
Coordinate with the Logistics team to apply barcodes and labels to all IT equipment within five days of receipt and reconcile all receipts and equipment transfers on a monthly basis.
Manage the receiving and storage of critical systems inventory, ensuring they are up to date and ready for deployment at all times to meet emergent requirements.
Facilitate the repair or replacement of failed equipment from fielded sites in a timely manner to maintain operational readiness.
Produces the Initial Baseline Asset Inventory Asset Inventory (Del 15) within 90 days of award and annually thereafter (Del 16).
Also produces Consumable Inventory Reports (Del 22) on a monthly basis.
Produces the Tech Refresh Plan (Del 29).
Submits End-of-Lifecycle / Unsupported or Decommissioned Hardware notifications (Del 24), as required.
Reviews, updates, and maintains the Deployable Technology List (DTL) (Del 18),Maintenance Warranty and License Agreement Reports (Del 21), provides quarterly DLA Disposition Reports (Del 25), as required, and maintains Equipment Inventory and Systems Data Lists (Del 26).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Security Clearance Level: Secret
5-8 years of experience, BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience
Experience leading a team of 8 or more team members
Required Certification: IAT II, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
Location: Falls Church, VA
