An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Senior Paralegal within the Honeywell Industrial Automation located in Charlotte, NC. Our Sr Paralegal will provide general, day-to-day support for the Intellectual Property (IP) Legal Team, to include the following key responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Intellectual Property (IP) paralegal and administrative support to the Honeywell Industrial Automation (IA) (IP Legal Team
Respond to general questions and inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders about IA’s legal and IP processes
Identify, create and drive implementation of IP system, program, and process improvements
Independently drive the IA IP product review and patent prosecution processes
Prepare legal documents and reports
Use the USPTO EFS system to prepare and file all documents including, but not limited to, new patent applications, assignments, and office action responses
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum 5+ years’ experience working as an IP Paralegal either in-house at a public or other company, or at a law firm
Qualification to be a paralegal by certification or education and work experience as approved by the American Bar Association
Strong matter management, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint skills/proficiency
