　　Job Description:

　　Apex Systems is looking for an entry levelLab Technicianfor an immediately available role primarily preforming physical and analytical testing.This position is working within the Oil and Gas industry. The pay is $25/hr

　　Location:Cadiz, OH

　　Length:6 month contract

　　Responsibilities:

　　Training provided.

　　Preparing solutions, cylinders and any other equipment needed to collect samples.Collecting requested field samples according to recognized methods and SOPsLog in samples upon return to labPerform physical and gas chromatography testing of samplesRunning testing and analyze and record resultsProvide a legible chain of custody and thorough notes related to sample details and testing results.Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment and instruments.Shifts for this position will be 7AM to 7PM and 7PM to 7AM. The candidate will work an alternating schedule, including weekends.

　　Qualifications:

　　An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a science field is preferredBiology, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Physics background preferredShould be mechanically inclined, a self-motivator, and eager to learn technical and industrial processes in the oil and gas industry.Working both as a team member and independentlyAbility to enter data accurately and maintain various logsWillingness to work outdoors in possibly inclement conditionsEEO Employer
