Duration: 12 months with possibility of CTHShift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): DayNote: Must Have an Active Top Secret Government Security ClearanceJob Description:Technologies (RTX) has an opportunity for a Sr. Infrastructure StorageEngineer available to support the next generation of satellite command andcontrol systems for one of our government customers.As part of a team of engineers, the candidate will be responsible formanaging storage services in multiple environments as well as providingsolutions for storage related issues; must be a strong troubleshooter withexperience in storage issue mitigation as well as prevention.This position may require some on call support and overtime, occasionalafter-hours availability as required for installation and troubleshootingsupport.The candidate should be open to expanding their skill set to include skillsets beyond purely storage as there is need.Role & Responsibilities:U.S. citizenship and current TS or TS/SCI Security Clearance is required,as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math(STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or Physics and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.Experience with storage configuration on physical and virtualized storageenvironments.Experience with enterprise backup architecture, emphasizing Cohesity backupsolutions.Thorough background in on premise and virtualized infrastructure data centersystems design.Experience Linux System Administration.Hands on experience scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby,bash, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Experience containerized storage solutions experience Such as:PVC/OCP/Kubernetes.Experience with automation design and implementation using Unix/Linuxcommand-line shell scripts Experience with fiber channel configurations onstorage, fiber channel switches, tape libraries and servers, includingmultipath configurations.Experience working in standard MS Office productivity suite, including atleast intermediate experience with Excel and Visio.Experience in creating informative charts and drawings to illustrate thestorage system's configuration and design.Experience with delivery coordination to a site.Current Security+ certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
