Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, service-oriented individual who wantsto be part of an evolving HR team in a dynamic, fast-paced company. Youwill be supporting our employees in all areas of Human Resources such aspolicy development, performance management, employment law compliance,employee relations, and department development.
Responsibilities include:
Liaison between management and employees by handling questions andinterpreting and administering policies.Assist with the development and administration of programs,procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with thestrategic goals of the company.Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures,including maintaining employee handbooks. Provide recommendations topolicy or procedure changes accordingly.Maintain compliance with local, state and federal employment lawkeeping the HR team apprised of any changes.Analyze and evaluate the impact of proposed legislation and rulechanges; propose policy/procedural changes as necessary.Assist and counsel managers on human resources and employmentissues.Conduct investigations on employee, customer and vendor complaints,including, but not limited to, harassment, discrimination andviolation of company policies.Required skills:
Bachelor\'s degree in human resources or related field.At least 5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist.Strong working knowledge of employment laws and practices.Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.Proficiency using HRIS systems and Microsoft suite.Ability to travel up to 15%.Preferred skills:
