  If you are located within the state of Minnesota, you will have the flexibility to work remotely , as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. If you are located outside of Minnesota, you will enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Reviews various sources of competitive data/intel, including but not limited to, physician claim data and Transparency in Coverage (TIC) data to identify competitor reimbursement rates and trends Analyzes data to trend and forecast UnitedHealthcare's competitive position by provider group Prepares presentations and presents findings to our business partners and providers Provides explanations and meaningful interpretations within area of expertise Team mentor/lead Works closely with other team members to collaborate and develop conclusions Creates ad hoc analysis, reporting, and innovative solutions Drive initiatives to improve product and services Uses business writing skills to explain relevant analysis findings in a clear and concise manner Develops best practice process and products based on rapidly changing healthcare environment

  Required Qualifications:

  4+ years professional data analysis, interpretation, synthesis, and presentation to convey results and recommendations to internal/external partners Physician contract negotiation or financial modeling experience Intermediate or advanced level of expertise in MS Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting, v-lookups etc.) Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven excellent critical thinking skills and ability to pay attention to details Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual team-oriented environment

  Preferred Qualifications:

  2+ years of professional presentation experience Leadership experience Experience analyzing and manipulating large sets of healthcare data (i.e., identifying trends and patterns) Healthcare experience Power BI or Tableau Knowledgeable of healthcare costs and quality topics Knowledgeable and able to speak to emerging healthcare industry trends

  California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
