  The scope of the IT GEMS contract includes a full range of information technology (IT) services which include necessary hardware, software, and ancillary, components to support enterprise-level programs and environments. Support service areas include program management support, policy, procedures, and operations support, IT core services support, security compliance, customer and client services support, transformational IT support, and application migration support.

  HOW A Sr. Global HW/SW Installer Lead WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  Global HW/SW Installer Lead (Senior)Supports C.5.5.4 Global Site Support Management.

  Leads Installation team, managing and supervising 9 installers, and interacts directly with the on-site operational teams to independently understand requirements, challenges, and feedback. Supervises site surveys and modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting, and de-installation efforts for both new and existing sites.

  As part of the management team collaborates with our Change Management team and ensures changes are managed in accordance with DMDC Change Management process and training is provided to site personnel.

  Coordinates and performs beta testing efforts related to hardware and software deployments.

  Independently develops and implements plans for IT operations, logistics, and deployments, coordinating schedules, resource allocation, and logistics for hardware and software shipments.

  Supports the implementation of IT projects and deployments and manages the maintenance and warranty actions of COTS hardware and software, ensuring software updates, patches/IAVAs, and hardware maintenance are completed on time and are compliant with security standards.

  Oversees the tracking and management of hardware and software inventory, including the timely shipments to designated locations.

  Ensures hardware and software meet the necessary quality and security standards before deployment.

  Collaborates with the on-site database administrators to ensure the functioning and accessibility of required databases (e.g., DBIDS) and supports the overall management, installation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution of new and existing systems.

  Works with the on-site teams to provide Tier 3 / program support and manages a detailed software release schedule, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure a smooth installation process.

  Ensures quality and supports continuous process improvement via our CSI2 process.

  Provides status in Deliverable 10, Monthly Status Report.

  WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  Security Clearance Level: Public Trust

  5-8 years of experience, BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience

  Required Certification: IAT II, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent

  Location: REMOTE
