Description

　　Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to be a key member of the AWS Next Gen Developer Experience team. This position will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across the AWS organization, including Product Managers and Engineers, to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership in the AWS NGDE businesses. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Take the lead in financial planning; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.

　　Manage P&L and influence business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures

　　Develop short and long range financial/operational forecasts

　　Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from finance and business leadership.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

　　Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

　　OR master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Advanced knowledge of Excel/ financial modeling Advanced financial modeling skills, including knowledge of SQL

　　An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

　　Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
