Support the execution of Inspire’s financial objectives, annual budget process, recurring forecasts and reporting for Inspire Company Restaurants (ICR) in partnership with the ICR Operations team. Assist in completion of comprehensive financial analyses and reporting relating to key financial areas across company restaurants and operations. Provide hands-on financial/business consultation to maximize sustainable profit performance by review of financial results, diagnosis of issues/opportunities, and development of performance action plans at restaurant and multi-unit levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, review and manage Budget.
Assist in preparation and development of business plans to support company growth strategies and business initiatives.
Prepare period, quarterly and ad hoc financial reports, forecasts, and analysis.
Provide ongoing assessment of current ICR Support Center G&A opportunities and efficiencies making recommendations to Manager of Company Ops Finance regarding potential enhancements.
Become a team expert in different P&L line items - across brands - for company restaurants.
Assist Manager of Company Ops in consolidating all Brands into consistent, presentable formats in all reporting to provide to ICR Leadership and Support Center teams.
Assist in preparation of management reporting, performance management tools / dashboards and other information to support the ICR Leadership Team.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Provide tactical financial analysis of restaurants - focusing on opportunities / benefits, cost controls and margin enhancements.
Enhance financial analysis and reporting by creating and refining financial tools in support of cost analysis and profit opportunities.
Enhance budget and forecast tool efficiencies and communication processes.
Work closely with Franchise Finance and Restaurant accounting regarding key financial issues and budget.
Provide excellent customer service to Support Center, Brand and ICR team.
Partner with functional departments to develop financial analytical tools and solutions as required (e.g., Restaurant Accounting, Operations Analytics, etc.).
Provide guidance to Leadership teams on how to improve financial and operating results.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Required: 4 year degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or certification (CPA/CFA)
Required: at least 2 years’ in relevant work experience including Planning and Analysis, operational analysis or similar supervisory experience in Finance or Accounting
Preferred: Restaurant Experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Understanding and working knowledge of finance, project / capital assessment, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work in teams and balance competing priorities, often with considerable time constraints.
Preferred: Experience with relational databases including Oracle, Access and SQL.
Preferred: Experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting software, including Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle ePBCS.
Strong listening, communication and influencing skills.
Preferred: Experience with Business Intelligence analysis and presentation tools, including Tableau, Power BI and SharePoint
Experience with Enterprise software, planning software (ePBCS), financial consolidation software, and relational databases
