Your Opportunity as the Scientist, Coffee Research & Development - Liquid Coffee VentureYou will play a critical product development role on the Liquid Coffee Venture team bringing liquid coffee & dairy expertise across our portfolio of brands, including Folgers, Dunkin, and Cafe Bustelo. You will independently lead product creation through innovation or improvement projects, qualify product specifications & launch products to market. Expectations for this role will leverage creative thinking skills and executional technical skills to define product design, develop flavored coffee extracts, and incorporate dairy components across liquid coffee formats, while displaying a strong, collaborative, and adaptable mindset that is willing to sharpen agility in a fast-paced environment.Location: Orrville, OH Corporate Offices (working hybrid work flexibility following Presence with Purpose expectations estimated 60% onsite presence, based on business need)In this role you will:Lead formulation development of new & existing formulas across our Liquid Coffee portfolio from benchtop to commercialization. Utilize conceptual and practical expertise in coffee formulation and basic knowledge of related disciplines for product development.Provide technical know-how & guidance to LCV on formulation & product management with incorporating dairy components.Independently develop work plans, publish technical documentation within established procedures, utilize lab notebook & inventory systems and act as an advisor to our operations & contract manufacturing teams.Collaborate and leverage relationships within R&D and cross functional teams to achieve project goals, foster a continuous improvement mindset, participate in ID&E initiatives.Receive qualification as a Technical Readiness Lead and Cupper within the Coffee Product Development team.The Right Place for YouWe are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
