We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade. This highly visible role requires balancing key performance metrics such as eligible users, opt-in rate, and percentage of guest checkout accelerated-while enhancing the overall consumer experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, data-driven leader skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with a proven track record of managing complex, competing objectives. In addition to recruiting and managing best-in-class Product managers, this leader will partner with strategy, analytics, design, content, PMO, engineering, and consumer marketing teams to deliver measurable business impact. A strong ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and align with broader business goals is essential.Job Description:In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy that ensures the Fastlane Consumer value proposition is best-in-class. Collaboration with global analytics and data science teams will be key to building models that drive personalization and actionable insights. Additionally, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams-including product, engineering, and other business units-to develop and implement innovative solutions. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a passion for data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Overall Leadership: Lead the Fastlane Consumer Product Team to be best-in-class. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with strategy, analytics, design, content, PMO, engineering, and consumer marketing teams for strategy and execution. Performance Metrics: Focus on key performance metrics including eligible users, opt-in rate, and percentage of guest checkout accelerated. Ownership: Oversee all consumer experience checkout flows, profile management, and outbound messaging.Requisite Experience:10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on optimizing conversion, checkout flows, and/or payment systems in an e-commerce or financial services environment.Strong understanding of checkout and payments market.Proven ability to collaborate with data science teams to integrate ML and data-driven insights into customer-facing products.Proven track record in driving complex optimization initiatives, balancing competing metrics.Deep expertise in experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, multivariate testing) and data-driven decision-making.Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional, matrixed teams, including product, marketing, engineering, and data science.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to quickly adapt to rapidly changing environments.Experience with payment systems and instruments (debit, credit, balance, cards).Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, influencing, and decision-making skills.Additional Job Description:Subsidiary:PayPalTravel Percent:0-PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
