Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr Developer in Fort Worth, Texas. The role is highly involved in the IT industry, providing the successful candidate with the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. The Sr Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining software applications, implementing new features, and collaborating closely with a diverse team of skilled professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.

• Implement new software features and modify existing ones to enhance functionality.

• Collaborate with the team in an Agile Scrum environment, participating in sprints and contributing to the estimation of work.

• Utilize various DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven for build and deployment processes.

• Develop REST-based JSON APIs and handle database operations.

• Work with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React.

• Apply understanding of test-driven development and Reactive Programming.

• Employ excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers and product owners, and resolve problems.

• Work closely with a larger development team of varying skillsets to ensure software specifications are met.

• Utilize knowledge of multi-threading concepts and IP protocol. Requirements • Proficient in database management and implementation

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Java, and other programming languages

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and Sprint Framework

• Familiar with specification procedures and requirements

• Proficient in using GitHub, GIT, and other version control systems

• Experience in UI design and API development, including REST API

• Knowledge of laptop hardware and IP Protocol

• Skilled in using React and other JavaScript libraries and frameworks

• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Kubernetes

• Experience with JSON and other data exchange formats

• Familiarity with Mindset Software and Continuous Integration (CI) processes

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
