General Purpose of Job Documentsand implements system PLC, HMI and Motion Control changes. Designs newor modifies existing systems and machines. Provides controls engineeringsupport for all system users and manufacturing team. Performs R&Dfunctions to support machine development. Provides guidance to group,works independently with minimal supervision. Works on multiple highlycomplex major projects delivering innovative original solutions.Essential Duties & Responsibilities 50% - Design, modify, test andtroubleshoot new and existing systems including HMI and PLC software andelectrical layout and documentation. 25% - Document and develop newapplications from the beginning of the development lifecycle throughimplementation. 20% - Assist internal and external customers withoperational support. 5% - Create documentation of existing systems.Performs other job-related duties as assigned subject to reasonableaccommodations Special Skills & Abilities Subject matter expert inrelevant controls platforms. Acts as a mentor and provides support toEngineering Team. Provides substantial judgmental in exercising teamgoals and creative solutions.
