Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks will be the main focus points in this role. Located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

　　Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

　　Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

　　Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

　　Accomplish full-cycle A/P

　　Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

　　Carry out additional tasks as assigned Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Data entry experience desired

　　Knowledge of QuickBooks

　　Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
