  About the Role:

  The Revenue Strategy team plays a critical role in shaping Kinetic’s acquisition strategy and priorities across marketing and sales. The team’s responsibilities include setting Kinetic’s acquisition priorities, developing growth forecasts, and understanding growth drivers.

  The Consultant / Sr. Consultant of Revenue Strategy will be responsible for forecasting acquisition growth and identifying/evaluating growth opportunities across relevant segments of Kinetic’s footprint and prospect base, and for modeling organic & inorganic demand across the footprint.

  What You’ll Do:

  Driver-based bottoms-up growth planso Develop bottoms-up gross add forecasts / growth plans for annual, quarterly, and monthly time horizons

  o Focus on modeling expected penetration growth curves and apply across the footprint to forecast gross adds by segment

  o Coordinate with other members of Revenue Strategy team and other marketing & sales stakeholders to integrate various model components into single growth plan

  § E.g. footprint segmented growth forecast, sales channel breakdown, and media model for lead-driven

  Setting segmented growth targets and identifying/sizing opportunitieso Leverage penetration curve and footprint modeling to define gross add targets for each technology segment (new fiber, tenured fiber, DSL) overall, by cohort, and by relevant sub-segments (e.g. RDOF vs. other new fiber)

  o Size growth opportunities across key footprint and prospect segments (e.g. movers, switchers, ACP-eligible) and set growth targets

  Demand modelingo Develop models to measure and forecast organic demand (i.e. movers) and inorganic demand (i.e. switchers) across footprint, and understand Kinetic performance in each category and its implications for overall results

  o Develop/codify methodology for measuring organic & inorganic demand, and outline / execute roadmap for refining approach and uses cases over time

  o Define / execute approach for integrating demand modeling into growth planning

  Support analytical needs and questions related to segmented marketing effortso Serve as authority for providing data-driven assessment and recommendations on strategic questions and issues related to strategic/segmented marketing efforts

  § E.g. should Kinetic lower the acquisition price for ACP-eligible customers through its internal channels to match what third party channel partners offer?

  § E.g. what is opportunity size / feasibility for move-out “leave-behind” program

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or data-driven discipline; graduate degree in similar discipline also valued

  8 years experience in analytical role, preferably with focus on customer acquisition or marketing analytics, preferably in broadband, telco, other subscription-based business, consulting, or finance

  Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to develop or tailor modelling approaches to evaluate novel opportunities

  Familiarity/experience with customer acquisition in broadband, telecommunications, or other subscription-based businesses preferred

  Strong grasp of core concepts of marketing, sales, and business analytics/forecasting

  Strategic, data-driven thinker with strong intellectual curiosity

  Advanced Excel modelling and foundational Tableau skills required; basic SQL nice to have

  Ability to build effective presentation materials primarily in Powerpoint

  Self-starter, ability to effectively balance multiple pieces of work, clearly communicate with stakeholders, and deliver timely quality output

  Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills

  Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.

  Qualifications

  Desired Qualifications: College degree and 5-8 years professional level experience with supervisory experience; or 12 years professional level related experience with supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
