Job Title: PCB Design Electrical Engineer (New Grad - Rochester, NY)

　　Job Description:

　　The PCB Designer will design and create printed circuit board layouts from inputs received from engineering (electrical, mechanical). The PCB Team supports the development of the most advanced radio communication equipment in the world for the military and first responders.

　　Place and route components ensuring all electrical, mechanical, assembly, and fabrication design requirements are met for each PCB design.

　　Develop and generate drawings and documentation to facilitate PCB fabrication and assembly.

　　Revise PCB designs when engineering design changes occur and assist the design team with ideas to resolve issues.

　　Perform drawing and documentation updates per the instructions of engineering changes requests.

　　Create component ECAD library footprints and/or schematic symbols as required for design projects.

　　Experience with ECAD software applications. Specific experience with Mentor Graphics PADS software is desired.

　　Experience and knowledge of electrical schematics along with PCB design technologies, layout techniques, simulation, fabrication, and assembly is desired.

　　Practical knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field

　　The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
