[770-459-8044 [is looking for 8 Prep Cooks from April 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024. This is for temporary, full-time peak load employment. Duties include, at the direction of the Kitchen Manager, wash, peel, cut vegetables and meats for cooking and consumption. Prepare salsas and other sauces. Season and cook Mexican dishes including meats, rice, soups, stews, vegetables, or desserts in kitchen. Plate, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons. Keep kitchen area clean and sanitary according to food safety requirements. Assist chef with other food preparation and cooking duties as assigned. No education or experience required. Must have the ability to work rotating shifts and stand on feet for extended periods of time.
[$14.12/per hour, based on experience.Overtime and additional shifts available at $21.18 per hour based on hourly rate, but not guaranteed. 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, Wednesday through Sunday. 10am-2pm and return 5pm-9pm. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. The requested temporary workers will be based at 4763 Atlanta Hwy #390, Loganville, GA 30052 and travel may be required, as needed, to other sister restaurant locations within the Atlanta Sandy Springs Roswell Georgia MSA. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.
[Single work week will be used to compute wages due. Pay period is bi-weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. Housing is not provided by Employer. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs for return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workers originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first week of work for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). the employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training on the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees, as required by law, to offer work for the hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
