The Sr. Accounting Specialist will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable and Payroll duties. Likewise, this person is responsible for a full cycle A/P, data entry, cash applications, coding, light journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. 　　What you get to do every day

　　Manage general ledger

　　Lead Accounts Receivable

　　Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

　　Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

　　Prepare cash flow projections, as needed

　　Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

　　Assist with Payroll and time card processing

　　Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation

　　Other special projects as requested

　　Administer monthly accounting close

　　Accounts Payable Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　2+ years of related experience- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

　　Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

　　Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

　　Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

　　Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks

　　Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　General familiarity with Check Runs

　　Practical knowledge of manufacturing

　　ADP Online experience

　　Automated Payroll experience preferred

　　Proven knowledge of general ledger

　　Well-founded grasp of Posting Payments

　　Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Considerable accounting experience, including as a Specialist or Sr. Clerk preferred

　　Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
