About the Full-Time Engagement Professionals Program (FTEP):

Our FTEP program is designed for skilled accounting and finance professionals who thrive on variety and professional growth. As a full-time employee of Robert Half, you’ll support clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, tackling critical accounting projects in staffing gaps, process improvement, and leadership support—all while enjoying a long-term, salaried position.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Accountant in the FTEP program, your responsibilities may include:

Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.

Overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes.

Reconciling accounts, managing journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger.

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Supporting internal and external audit functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Providing technical accounting expertise for process improvements and system implementations.

Mentoring junior team members and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

To excel in this role, we’re looking for candidates with:

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role (5+ years preferred).

Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.

Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Advanced expertise in accounting systems like SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite; Microsoft Excel proficiency is a must.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).

Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in different industries and environments.
