Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Healthcare/NHS industry based in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on the job function of a Sr. Accountant with emphasis on Lease Accounting, Lease Abstracts, and Data Analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Handle 2023 Lease additions and lease clean up utilizing Costar system and Workday GL.

• Perform lease abstracts, technical accounting, and data analysis.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all lease accounting aspects.

• Conduct data analysis on lease documents to extract key financial data.

• Review, verify, and maintain lease abstracts for accuracy and completeness.

• Collaborate with other teams to resolve any discrepancies found in lease abstracts.

• Participate in the process of lease clean up to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to lease accounting.

• Utilize lease accounting and data analysis skills to improve processes and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant lease accounting standards.

Please note this role does not require a transition into a permanent or permanent contract role. Requirements • Applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Proven experience as a senior accountant in a healthcare setting is a must

• Proficiency in Lease Accounting and Lease Abstracts is required

• Advanced knowledge in Data Analysis is necessary

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors

• Outstanding analytical and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
