Position Summary:
The Audit and Loss Prevention Analyst is responsible for analyzing large data sets to isolate trends and business
opportunities, conducting advanced modeling, building solutions and making recommendations to drive performance
improvement around inventory shrink and other business risk and losses. The Analyst will take direction from Accounting
and Operations Managers, working cross-functionally and collaboratively with team members on assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities
• Acts as a subject matter expert in advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and quantitative analytical
techniques as they relate to asset protection and retail loss prevention.
• Develops, refines, and assists in implementation of SOPs and strategic programs to improve the efficiency and
accuracy of existing asset protection processes, understand risk, mitigate loss, and support revenue growth.
• Analyzes and translates data in deliverable standard, scheduled, and ad hoc reports and dashboards for various
asset protection performance metrics, audits, shipment, point-of sale and physical inventory results to include
decision support as needed.
• Delivers presentations to teams and executive leaders in Accounting, Operations and Merchandising.
Synthesizes findings and makes recommendations to upper management.
• Builds cross functional partnerships to understand trends and operational concerns occurring in the business that
may identify areas of opportunity.
• Maintains the highest expectation of confidentiality in handling sensitive company data.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to multi-task, deliver under tight timelines and demonstrate excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Business or Finance or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in an analytic role, preferably in a retail organization dealing with loss prevention.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, with exceptional Excel skills, able to learn and adapt to internal systems.
• Experience with Power BI, and Oracle Systems a plus.
• Experience leveraging external fraud detection software, tools and technology a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• May lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
• Frequent periods of sitting, reaching, standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
