Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in the Aerospace industry, located in Gardena, California. This role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Performing balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis

• Carrying out bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with financial records

• Managing the General Ledger and conducting thorough reviews for accuracy

• Preparing journal entries and ensuring they are entered into the system correctly

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data

• Overseeing month-end close processes to guarantee timely completion

• Leveraging knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various financial operations

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices

• Utilizing strong analytical skills to assess financial status and implement necessary changes. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Expertise in General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency with NetSuite software

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experience with SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Aerospace industry

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
