Job Responsibilities:
Responsible to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Philippine Government in Environment, Health and Safety. These government rules and regulations include but are not limited to the regulations of the Department of Labor and Employment (OSHA), Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police (PNP) , Philippine Economics Zone Authority (PEZA), Philippine Drug and Reinforcement Agency (PDEA), Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR A.Os. and R.A. 6969).
Responsible with the reporting requirements of the above-named agencies/offices.
Coordinates environment and wellness training programs in partnership with EHS Training Owner. Conducts safety and environment seminars designed for Collins employee's needs.
Acts as Liaison Officer and provides assistance to government agencies concerned in the conduct of safety and environment inspection, accident investigation or any other related program.
Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of procedures and guidelines for the supply, handling, receipt, inventory and storage of the plant’s chemical requirements.
Assists in gathering data related to legal compliance, KPIs & metrics on EHS projects
Responsible for the proper handling, storage and disposal of Hazardous and other Industrial Waste
Coordinate the implementation of Site Environmental sustainability with Facilities and Sustainability Team.
Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
Qualification:
Bachelor's/College Degree in any Engineering courses
At least 3 to 5 years of working experience as Pollution Control Officer or same position
With good verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic PCO Training accredited by DENR and LLDA .
Knowledgeable in DENR, LLDA, DDB, PDEA, PNP and other environmental laws and regulations.
Knowledgeable in Chemicals (Dangerous Goods) application permit to DENR, DOE, PDEA etc. for Importation purposes
Keen attention to detail and organized.
