Description Robert Half has a terrific opportunity for a permanent Senior Accountant to join an innovative, growing company in the Hialeah, Florida area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities

Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary Requirements - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

Strong time management skills preferred

Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills

Be detailed, flexible, and organized

NetSuite experience desired

Knowledge of month end closings

Deep understanding of general ledger

3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

Experience with ERP systems

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
