As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Skilled with ERP systems
Ability to work well with functional department managers
Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
This role would be best suited to candidates with financial reporting proficiency
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Analyze Financial Statements experience required
Experience with bank reconciliations
Proven knowledge of journal entries
Deep understanding of Budget monitoring
Month end closings experience desired
Foundational knowledge in supervising
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
