　　Robert Half currently has a permanent position open for an experienced Senior Accountant with drive and know-how to join a rapidly-growing team in the St. Louis Park, Minnesota area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Engage in various department-wide initiatives

　　Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

　　Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

　　Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

　　Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

　　Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

　　Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

　　Requirements - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

　　Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

　　BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

　　Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

　　Great attention to detail

　　Skilled at time management

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　Solid understanding of month end closings

　　ERP system experience

　　Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
