Description

　　Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting a Sr. Accountant to support our Non-Profit client on an onsite 3-month engagement based in Los Angeles. This role will report directly to the Associate Director and will play a critical role in the budget process, tracking purchase orders, preparing monthly reconciliations, reviewing p-card charges for accuracy, providing guidance to the organization on travel and p-card policies, and ensuring compliance.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Reviews and approves department submissions to ensure compliance with fiscal year budget and compiles all submissions into a consolidated budget

　　Ensures accuracy and compliance of member contributions and spending balance rollforwards.

　　Prepares reclasses for inaccuracies in categorization or discrepancies with policy or budget.

　　Reviews and approves travel requests, cash advances, and expense reports (T& E)

　　Approving expenses and travel coding, approving based on policy.

　　Review p card charges, coding and policies and ensure monthly reconciliation.

　　Works with Accounting and AP to identify outstanding check and wire payments.

　　Responds to T& E and Pcard audit inquiries.

　　Ensures that staff are aware and adhere to policies.

　　Requirements

　　Working understanding of GAAP and proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, sum-ifs, large data sets)

　　Detailed oriented and proven ability to hit deadlines

　　Experience working in PeopleSoft (plus not required)
