Must work Monday, March 11- Friday, March 15
Positions available include: Food Cook, Ride Operator, and Park Services, and Retail ONLY.
Requirements:
Must currently be associated with a recognized school organization or home school program
Must attend orientation and department training BEFORE starting on March 11
Friendly, outgoing personality interacting with large groups of people
Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters
What You Will Be Doing (Food Cooks):
Provide exceptional guest service while surrounded by roller coasters
Take guests’ orders, offering suggestions and upsells about the most delicious menu items
Feed hungry guests promptly and satisfy growling stomachs with fresh, made-to-order foods
Prepare everything from double bacon cheeseburgers to ice cold soft drinks to delectable funnel cake sundaes and more.
Fill condiment dispensers, wipe down tables, wash dishes, and keep all areas clean and safe for guests
And other duties assigned by Management
What You Will Be Doing (Ride Operator):
Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience
Entertain guests and calm their nerves as they board our world-class thrill machines
Push buttons and pull switches to launch attractions through the course
Make sure seatbelts are tight, loose items are secure, and lap bars are locked to keep guests safe
Enforce rider restrictions and measure for height requirements
Assist guests in and out of ride vehicles and cycle through the line efficiently and cautiously
Keep ride patios and midways clean and looking great
Act as a first responder to ride emergencies and respond appropriately
What You Will Be Doing (Park Services):
Assist guests with park information and accurate directions to their next attraction
Walk through the park with a broom and dustpan to ensure everything looks its best
Hose down midways and patios before or after regular park hours
Wipe down tables and benches
Empty trash cans to maintain freshness
Use chemicals to make restrooms and facilities shine
What You Will Be Doing (Retail):
Greet and ask guests about their favorite ride as they enter your store or approach your register
Offer suggestions to help souvenir-seeking guests find their perfect keepsake
Tell shoppers about add-on accessories and Shopping Passes to raise sales
Re-stock bins, shelves, fixtures, and displays full with the newest and coolest merchandise
Operate Point of Sale (POS) registers, receiving money and returning proper change
Check in shipments of new merchandise
Keep aisles, counter tops, and displays clean and looking great
Ring up everything from ride photos to apparel to action figures and homemade fudge
Take front gate photos and character meet-and-greet pictures (when applicable)
