Job Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist II provides diagnostic evaluations andintervention programs for children with speech, language, learning,feeding/swallowing, or hearing disorders in all settings in which servicesare offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient,outreach, and telehealth programs. The Speech-Language Pathologist IIsuccessfully fulfills the requirements of a specified area or completes andmaintains the Career Advancement Program (CAP), demonstrating bothexcellence in job performance and on-going contributions in service,education and research, and professional development and leadership.

Qualifications
EDUCATION - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or relatedfieldEXPERIENCE - Two years' experience providing pediatric speech-languagepathology services in a pediatric setting focusing on family centered care,with strong preference for at least 3-5 years experience in NICU setting,providing developmentally supportive care to critical care infants as well asfeeding/swallowing therapy with fragile infants.CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR; AmericanSpeech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of ClinicalCompetence (CCC)-Speech-Language Pathologist.LICENSURE -This position may require a BLS certification from the American HeartAssociation.
