As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory.As a Specimen Collector:Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimensProcess and package collections or shippingServe as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratoryRecord patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory informationResolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portalOrder and maintain collection supplies inventory onsiteObserve collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)Driving from/to multiple facilities may be requiredIdeal Candidate:6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experienceDemonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer requiredValid driver's license requiredMedical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plusHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical requirements: sitting 90%, walking 5%, standing 5%, lifting up to 20 lbs.Benefits Offered:401k with Company MatchPaid Time off and HolidaysBehavioral and Health Care ResourcesPlease note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
