CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:The Specialist, Visitor Experience is the "face" of Sherwin-Williams. As the initial contact person for visitors to the Sherwin-Williams Global Research & Development Center, this person will be responsible for ensuring all activities within the Sherwin-Williams exhibit spaces operate efficiently and that guests receive a five-star experience.As a key ambassador of the Company, this individual maintains a professional image and reflects a positive attitude. Must have strong communication skills, be highly organized, detail oriented and successfully perform duties under tight deadlines. This person must maintain knowledge about current Company operations and its history and be able to convey this information confidently and professionally.The individual in this role will also work directly with the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations team to optimize the Company's visitor experience program in the new Sherwin-Williams Headquarters and new R&D Center, both of which include all-new exhibit and meeting spaces.This role is also responsible for supporting internal and external communication and brand initiatives, working closely with corporate team members and cross-functional business units and teams to design, develop, publish and maintain digital and print content.The individual must exhibit a professional demeanor at all times and discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information.Provides tailored/customized guided tours of Sherwin-Williams exhibit spaces based on individual objectives of the host and visitor, which may include detailed information regarding Sherwin-Williams history and current Company operations.Supports Corporate Communications strategic priorities and other business needs.Greets guests and manages inquiries from a variety of internal and external visitors and handles a high volume of phone and email communications.Coordinates and drafts email and survey templates for visitors in guest management tool (including visitor invitations, welcome messages, pre- and post-visit evaluations and visitor logistics, etc.).Assists sales, marketing, executive leadership and other teams to coordinate customer visits.Collaborates with Visitor Experience team to manage conference room schedules and arrange meetings and events within the Company's exhibit spaces.Assists Visitor Experience Coordinator to accommodate audiovisual presentation setup in the conference rooms and ensure guest connectivity to Sherwin-Williams wifi networks.Responsible for the integrity of the Company's exhibit spaces and surrounding areas - audiovisual equipment, exhibit displays, conference rooms, reception area, hallways and restrooms.Alerts Visitor Experience Coordinator to facilities service request needs and helps coordinate maintenance, repairs and cleanliness as needed.Assists with managing relationships with external partners to maintain and develop experiential installations and exhibits.Maintains updatable exhibit content, ensuring customization of the visitor experience is maximized. This may include swapping display items, color samples, digital imagery and tour content as required.Supports archival management with artifact inventory, cataloging, packing and moving as needed. Oversees the intake of new historical items as a result of corporate acquisitions and individual donations. Processes requests to contribute artifacts to the Company's off-site archival service.Assists with sourcing and developing written and digital content for updated and new exhibit development.Maintains a working relationship with the corporate security team to assist with keeping the site secured.Facilitates edits and updates for digital displays and signageAssumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.Exhibit opening procedures may begin at
