　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Support our Master Data EHS unit and ensure the high quality of our master data in the area of raw material purchasing.

　　You will check and validate the supplier documents of raw materials (e.g. safety data sheets) according to BASF guidelines and according to the valid, regional chemical regulations such as REACH, Korea-REACH, IECSC, TSCA, OSHA.

　　You also maintain the raw material data in the SAP system. You will contribute your broad expertise to the design and implementation of guidelines for master data maintenance as well as to the definition and optimization of processes.

　　In addition, you will be the competent contact person for master data management as well as EHS topics relating to raw materials.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　successfully completed doctorate in natural sciences or a degree in chemistry, toxicology or comparable

　　first professional experience in the field of chemicals legislation (e.g. regional chemical regulations, GHS, dangerous goods testing, etc.) is an advantage

　　knowledge of product safety and materials management

　　experienced handling of Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP modules EHS and MM is an advantage

　　secure communication in German and English, other languages such as e.g. French, Portuguese, Spanish or Chinese is an advantage

　　The position is initially limited to 2 years, a later termination is possible.

　　Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
