Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is proud to be the pioneer and widely recognised leader in Cloud Computing. Our web services provide IT infrastructure in-the-cloud that is used by hundreds of thousands of developers and businesses around the world, ranging from start-ups to leading web companies to Global 500 companies in industries such as financial services, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
Amazon Web Services is looking for a Specialist Solution Architect to help establish AWS as the market leader in customer experience solutions. AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organisation, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they re-think their customer contact centre solutions or designing entirely new approaches to customer experience.
The WWSO APJ CXE Specialist Solution Architecture team is a diverse group of architects located throughout Asia, Pacific and Japan. The team develops Contact Centre architectures and solutions using Amazon Connect for our customers. Specialist SAs play a critical role in capturing customer feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as they work backwards from their needs. As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.
Key job responsibilities
CXE Specialist Solutions Architects combine technical skills in contact centre, business acumen, and technical sales skills. They are focused on supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the teams that support implementation including AWS Professional Services and Partners. SSAs unblock customers and help them get to production faster. Joining AWS as a Specialist Solutions Architect will give you opportunities to work on interesting and challenging problems, collaborate with a group of skilled practitioners focused on delivering outcomes for our customers, and be part of a diverse and inclusive community commited to being Earth’s Best Employer.
SSAs are part of the Worldwide Specialist Organisation (WWSO) which builds and executes go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our teams include business development, specialist sales, and specialist solutions architecture, working together to provide customer-obsessed solutions that help people run their businesses more effectively. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.
A day in the life
This role will focus on Korea and support existing AWS customers in their customer experience journey and also onboard new customers onto Amazon Connect. As a CXE Specialist Solution Architect for Korea you will own technical engagements, define implementation architectures, and be an Amazon Connect subject-matter-expert for customer solutions and technical architectures. By advancing successful customer outcomes on AWS—such as more innovative, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient architectures—we enable customers to shift their focus to improving customer experiences.
