Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services. _Job Summary_ Plans and implements academic and behavioral plans for special education students. Serves as student advisor. Works with interdisciplinary team to develop curriculum, manage the milieu and communicate in the psycho-educational environment. Reports to the principal/assistant principal. • Bachelor's Degree • Current CT teaching certification (065) in Special Ed and/or specific curriculum area. • Experience in similar setting preferred. • DMV requirements for transporting students to and from activities and/or to and from school may be required. • Communication and interpersonal skills. • Understanding child development.
