　　Job Description:

　　Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented SOX Summer Intern to join our team! In this role you will have an exciting opportunity to assist with work that touches across the full range of financial reporting activities at Parsons.

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Learn and enrich your knowledge of SOX compliance:

　　Learn detailed applications of key SOX sections (404 and 302).

　　Learn how to review and understand SOC reports.

　　Learn and understand various control types and their applications at Parsons.

　　Understand control design and efficacy related to SOX compliance.

　　Meet and network with managers and executives as you assist with the SOX program.

　　Review control documentation to learn about and assess compliance with stated guidelines and to assist with improving the organization.

　　Prepare required SOX walkthrough documentation for key controls in the organization.

　　Review, verify, and format information into templates for use within and outside the unit.

　　Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

　　What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

　　Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.

　　Currently enrolled in a 4-Year or advanced degree program; working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting or MIS.

　　3.0 GPA minimum.
