　　eero, an Amazon Company, is looking for a Solutions Architect to provide design, deployment, integration, and troubleshooting support for the eero solution to eero's key customers and partners.

　　Our mission is to make technology in homes and businesses just work - through fast, reliable, secure connectivity. Fixing connectivity in the home is, however, just the start. We focus on the core requirements of small business solutions and smart homes by designing our own hardware, enabling it with powerful software, and tying it all together in the AWS cloud.

　　As a Solutions Architect, you will focus on knowing about every part of the eero product including hardware architecture, security practices, networking, Wi-Fi, mobile app experiences, fleet management tools, API products, and much more. You will specialize in one or more of the newest eero solutions set to launch to ISPs and end customers.

　　At the time of the launch, you will be working closely with VIP customers and larger service provider partners to help them deploy the new solution successfully. You will provide design, integration, and deep troubleshooting support (often onsite) to these customers during initial deployments. You will work as a trusted advisor for eero's customers and partners.

　　Within eero, you will work closely with engineering and product management teams to plan solution releases, experiment in lab environments, and ultimately support products post-launch. You will develop design and deployment best practices for the new features and solutions. You will work as an escalation engineer addressing critical issues reported by customers and partners.

　　As a Solution Architect, you work closely with eero’s Business Development and Partner Success teams to provide customer feedback on newly launched features as well as support pre-sales or post-sales activities. Additionally, you’ll evaluate eero and competitor products to clearly demonstrate eero’s advantages and differentiation and explain to partners the best tests to use when evaluating potential products.

　　While this role is virtual, it will require extensive travel to support solution launch, deployment and troubleshooting activities. Travel may be 50% or more as needed.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

　　3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military

　　Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. wired and wireless networking, security and data & analytics).

　　Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in the field of networking

　　Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience working as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer or Network Engineer

　　Familiarity with broadband internet technologies

　　Basic knowledge of hardware, embedded software, cloud software, and security best practices

　　Experience in deploying and troubleshooting wired or wireless networks for enterprise, small businesses or residential customers

　　Comfortable in at least one scripting language

　　Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

　　Organized and detailed oriented

　　Analytical – able to self-serve from existing data sources and collect new data from any source as required

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
