As an intern, youwill collaborate with Syngenta researchers to evaluate and demonstrate howregenerative ag systems and other innovative (sensor, predictive)technologies improve soil health and water management in the Great Plainsregion of NA. Soil health research conducted in LaSalle will quantifyinteractions between regenerative ag practices and systems, Syngenta'sproducts, and remotely sensed data so that growers can make profitable andsustainable farm-scale decisions to optimize their outcomes and minimizeenviroAs an intern at Syngenta, you will work alongside some of the brightestminds in the industry, and work on real projects finding real,cost-effective solutions. Qualifications
What you must have:Enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program in Soils, Agronomy, Ag/CivilEngineering, Ag Business or another closely related agricultural field ofstudyUnderstanding and use of modern agronomic practicesA valid driver's license and acceptable moving violations recordWhat you might also bring to the team:Ability to use MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Power Point and otherstandard office softwareInnovation - always looking to implement new ways or technologies to improvework efficienciesCommunication - ability to effectively communicate information (written,spoken) is highly desiredDetail Oriented - all procedures and policies must be understood and followedCollaboration - able to work with internal and external stakeholders to sharefeedback on products, practices, ways of working, and technology offerings
