The Industrial Engineerwill utilize enterprise standards to lead process improvementinitiatives by implementing policies, procedures and processdocumentation related to continuous improvement directives. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: Responsible coordinating the successfullaunch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within operations Contributeto facility transformation, technology transfer and ongoing maintenanceof mixed model lines or value streams. Ensure ongoing success of processimprovement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures and processdocumentation. Implement demand driven principals and strategies thatsupports operational excellence and long range plans. (Flexibility,Speed & Responsiveness) Ensure product, material and information streamsflow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowestcost of operation. Contribute to creation of innovative ideas to improvebusiness results. Deploy standard Generac tools, methodologies,standards, practices and processes. Implement objectives to includecontinuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction andfulfillment needs. Work closely with shop floor personnel to promoteongoing Continuous Improvement of manufacturing methods, systems andcontrols. Responsible for area layouts, process definition, andequipment justification, selection, and implementation. BasicQualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or IndustrialTechnology 1-3 years related experience in the Engineering functionwithin a similar working environment. Additional Qualifications:Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Solid Works and/or ProE); Excellentorganizational, written and oral communication skills; Knowledge of leanprinciples and process improvements; Diverse skills and experienceleading projects; Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achievedesired results; Experience operating in high mix, low volume and highvolume, low mix production environments; Demonstrated skills in problemsolving...
