　　Responsibilities

　　Focus on growing the library of virtual crop models for use in disc mower conditioner (DMC) Discrete Element Modeling (DEM) simulations.Develop virtual crop models by performing physical measurements of plants and their mechanical properties.Calibrate the virtual crop behavior  by simulating the physical tests.Use the validated virtual crop model  in system / subsystem DMC simulations of crop cutting quality and feeding.Measure drag properties of forage crops and the airflow field in a DMC.Gain experience in other aspects of the product development cycle through multi-functional team meetings, participating in field testing of CNH products, and spending time with design and test engineers.This position will pay between $19.00 - $35.25 per hour.
