　　Basic Job Functions:

　　Nucor Business Technology is actively seeking a Software Engineering Supervisor. The ideal candidate will lead a talented team of developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions while ensuring seamless integration with our various platforms used throughout the enterprise and/or product groups. The Software Engineering supervisor will work closely with our process automation team and automation system vendors to build a platform that can utilize IT and OT data to build data driven solutions.

　　This position will be an on-site role at our sheet steel mill in Apple Grove West Virginia.

　　Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

　　Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

　　Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

　　Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of software applications.

　　Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

　　Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

　　Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Proven experience in a leadership role.

　　Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering).

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Excellent communication, interpersonal, and remote team leadership skills

　　Manufacturing-related IT and project management experience, with a preference for process-related industries similar to the steel environment

　　Understanding of agile software development methodologies, software engineering practices, OO design patterns, architecture, and automated testing.

　　Experience building data driven, cloud solutions. Sourcing data from across the enterprise to migrate into various instances of Data Lakes/Warehouses/Databases. Applying AI/Machine learning to solve business problems.
