You not only optimize your own code but make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a Software Engineering Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Operating with scale and speed, our exceptional software engineers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will own and lead projects critical to Google’s Procurement systems' needs. You will lead a team and execute in a fast-moving ambiguous environment and apply and invent technologies to enable scaling and faster pace of execution for the business.

Collaborate closely with Product Management, Program Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and expectations.

Attract, grow, and retain talent, providing technical direction and career growth opportunities and creating an inclusive, diverse culture.

Be responsible for building systems used by users with the domain expertise in Procurement, Agreement, Legal, and all other corporate functions.
