　　Data is the true differentiator for Uber Freight in the long run. Weneed your help to build out the data flywheel at Uber Freight. As anengineer on the Data Platform team at Uber Freight, you will build andown tooling, pipelines and canonical datasets to power Uber Freight\'sanalytics, intelligence and external data integration. You will beresponsible for unlocking insights through strategic external dataintegration and acquisition. In short, you will be making the core ofFreight\'s datasets reliable and our utilization efficient.

　　Build a scalable, reliable, operable and performant big dataworkflow platform for Uber\'s data scientists/engineers, AI/MLengineers, and operations folks.Drive the usage of Freight\'s data model across the organizationwith multiple product teams.Design and implement data integration services, best practices andreusable frameworks.Drive efficiency and reliability improvements through design andautomation: data quality, performance, scaling, observability, andmonitoring.---- Basic Qualifications ----

　　High School or GDE equivalentMinimum 3 years of related experience---- Preferred Qualifications ----

　　Bachelor\'s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science and relatedfields2+ years of software development experienceProgramming skills with Python OR JavaExperience with distributed systems and servicesKeen interest in solving business challenges and a goodunderstanding of how data empowers business stakeholdersGood understanding of distributed systems and big data architecture(NoSQL/SQL, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra, Presto, etc)Previously worked on data processing and ETL, hands on buildingpipelines and workflow framework through Hive, Presto, Spark etc.Proven experience in data warehousing architecture and datamodeling.Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functionalteams.
