  We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support our Sensors' product line.

  Deliverables for this role include:

  Working in an agile/scrum team hyper-collaborative team environment using typical agile oriented tool suite implementing continuous integration/ continuous delivery processes and the Test Driven-Development approach.

  Getting involved from requirements development to flow down process across design, code, integration, and test of software into a large software baseline and large systems

  Coordinating with engineers from other disciplines, such as Systems and Electrical Engineering, to obtain pertinent information required to accomplish tasks.

  Able to work onsite at Richardson/North Dallas, TX

  Must be able to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance.

  U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

  Basic requirements include:

  5 years of relevant software development experience using C/C++ or similar.

  Design, implementation, and verification of software.

  Experience in Linux or similar.

  Experience across phases of SDLC.

  Must have current/active DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant software development experience

  Advanced requirements include:

  Experience with direct control of hardware devices and registers.

  Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development or integration issues using innovative solutions.

  The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
