　　The Role

　　AMERGINT is seeking a Software Engineer to build work on the AMERGINT CloudProduct team. Our customers, both government or commercial, are activelyevaluating and designing future ground architectures, and the cloud willplay an important role. AMERGINT is adapting our core software architecture,softLINK, to solve our customers problems in the cloud environment.

　　This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO or Broomfield, CO.

　　Core ResponsibilitiesWork on a team to execute the cloud product and technology roadmap.Incorporate current technologies, processes, and tools for AMERGINT'sinternal and external customers.Communicate and collaborate across the engineering team and product owners.Evaluate and recommend solutions and guide team decision-making.Continuously improve, adapt, and grow.

　　Required SkillsBachelors in Engineering or related field required.4 years of experience with Linux Operating System, containerorchestration, and developing cloud-based solutions.Working experience with containerization technologies such as Docker orPodman.Working experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes andHelm.Proficient with C/C and Python and familiarity with common development tools.Knowledge of the services offered by AWS and Azure and their appropriate usecases.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to convey complexideas and information through simple and accessible language and visuals.All candidates must have the ability to obtain a US Government securityclearance.Willing to travel 10%.

　　Preferred SkillsKnowledge of Kubernetes load balancing.Familiar with modern cloud-native architecture patterns and best practices.Familiar with networking protocols.Familiar with satellite communications and telemetry.Familiar with agile project management technology.
