　　SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

　　Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

　　Consult with customers to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.

　　Consult with customers concerning maintenance of software system.

　　Formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

　　Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.

　　Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

　　Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science, Engineering, or Mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.

　　Examples:

　　Applied Math

　　Applied Physics

　　Operational Research

　　Modeling and Simulation

　　Chemistry

　　Computer Science

　　Naval Architecture

　　Three (3)+ years of professional experience in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic and/or other object oriented languages and general software engineering in the areas of computer program development and software architecture design and development.

　　Professional experience using Linux.
