  Job Description

  The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented and self-motivated Senior Project Manager , for immediate employment, in the Cleveland, Ohio office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Civil Engineering specific to intersection and roadway design, highway design, pavement design, drainage design, utility coordination, and the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications and construction estimates.

  This role will provide the opportunity to directly support transformational projects including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. This project is one of the largest highway infrastructure projects in the country and entails design and construction of existing bridge improvements and a new bridge crossing of the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington Kentucky, along with 8 miles of significant highway improvements. Design has begun and will extend over the coming years, providing a unique opportunity for multiple career-defining roles on the project.   Position Details:

  Assists Ohio Leadership with business development and in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating client proposals and marketing efforts.

  Assists Ohio Leadership in developing and implementing marketing strategies for targeted public sector clients and specific projects in Ohio.

  Plans, schedules, conducts, coordinates, and manages detailed phases of roadway engineering projects.

  Verifies that applicable codes, engineering standards and environmental commitments are being met.

  Reviews and approves scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.

  Tracks overall financial performance of task assignments, which includes coordinating with Ohio Leadership to monitor sold time and work backlog on tasks.

  Contacts and interacts with local public sector clients (OTIC, ODOT, Cities, and Counties, etc.) in order to successfully complete assigned projects.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:

  Bachelor of Science in Civil/Transportation Engineering

  15 years of relevant project PS&E design experience

  5 years' ODOT experience

  Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio

  Proficient with ODOT Design Standards

  5 years’ experience with proposal and business development, client presentations and relationship development

  Demonstrated success in achieving scope, schedule, and budget goals on a large-scale transportation project.

  Additional Information

  Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Ohio will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $122821.00 - 227217.00 annually.
