We are the Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization, which is a part of E+D division. Our core mission is to keep customers protected and productive by delivering a seamless and timely servicing experience for our customers in existing and future versions of Windows.

　　Our Customer Focused Engineering (CFE) team is looking for highly motivated Software Engineers to help us in this mission. You will play a key role in building Windows images for Azure, M365 and other services to keep our customers secure and productive with a reliable platform. You would also be involved in building technology to make sure our first party and third-party Azure customers are always protected and productive and have the best experience with reboot less updates.

　　Responsibilities

　　Develop features to roll out updates in seamless manner to Azure customers.

　　Reproducing, debugging, and fixing media creation pipeline problems.

　　Crafting high-quality, bug-free fixes with low compatibility risk.

　　Improving performance, reliability of existing systems.

　　Collaborating with escalation engineers and other partner teams across Microsoft to debug, develop, test and ship updates.

　　Finding ways to improve products, tools, and processes for long-term benefit for Microsoft and customers.

　　Mentoring junior engineers in the team.

　　Qualifications

　　5+ years of professional software development experience.

　　Proven design and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.

　　Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.

　　The ability to work well in a diverse, global, team-focused environment.

　　BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

　　Experience with relevant programming skills in C#, C++ or equivalent.

　　Overall understanding of Azure and Cloud infrastructure.

　　Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, and debug server-side, multi-threaded, and highly scalable applications.

　　Experience in working with Azure services like Service fabric, Kubernetes, Azure Batch, Keyvault.

　　Demonstrated results working with a global team.

　　Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.

　　Understanding of ARM64 will be added advantage.
