About Software Engineer

  Leverage extreme programming and the latest cloud technologies in the development of working, tested code based on proven Agile methods. Leverage software craftsmanship principles and technology standards to solve problems with new and existing solutions. Write production-quality code to deploy on Enterprise Foundational Platforms. Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop software architecture plans. Serve as software engineer on the product team and monitor and evaluate solution performance. Experiment with new and innovative software products to improve performance.

  The Lead System Architect (LSA) is engaged in all aspects of a project, they design the Pega solution end-to-end.

  Using a Business Architect's functional design, the LSA creates the technical design, develops the enterprise class structure and reviews infrastructure requirements such as data architecture definitions and data management plans.

  The LSA leads technical teams, delivers technical guidance and advice, enables team members, and provides knowledge transfer to customer.

  Analyze and understand as well as create technical designs based on PegaPRPC 7.2 ensuring a high standard of software delivery following SOA and integration architectural practices

  Collaborate with offshore and onshore designers and developers to prepare effective designs and deliver required functional and non-functional benefits and follow industry best practice.

  Help to resolve technical issues and mitigate technical risks across the Domain technical portfolio

  Pega performance analysis and tuning

  Lead the team to follow best development practices

  Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipeline for the applications

  Work with and leads on shore and off shore development teams

  Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field

  8+ years of experience in the job offered and 8+ of experience performing software engineering

  Pega LSA certification is mandatory

  Working on a Balanced Team and collaborate with Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects; Carrying out development using Pega Tools to support end-to-end feature delivery;

  Defining, designing, developing, and deploying applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support Guest Experience Platform growing technical capabilities/expertise and providing guidance and mentorship to other team members;

  Establishing best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk; ensuring quality, on-time delivery using Agile, test driven development principles; leveraging and applying UI/UX design principles;

  Individual should be highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying Pega technology to help solve business problems.

  Excellent time management and organization skills, with the capability to manage multiple competing priorities.

  Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner and collaborate

  Willingness to go the extra mile. Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results with a team-oriented drive and a demonstrated ability to lead by example.

  Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; ability to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.

  Capacity to work in teams as well as alone, capacity to lead a technical team, ability to match technology solutions to customer needs
