Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk for an admired company. In this role, you will be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity based in the Denver, Colorado area.

Your responsibilities

Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

Standard accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

Produce statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

Codify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

Report financial facts to journals and ledgerst Requirements - Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system

Outstanding data entry skills

2+ years of relevant experience

AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

Expertise in general ledger

Strong familiarity with Code Invoices

Bank reconciliations experience desired

3 Way Matching experience preferred
