　　The Role:

　　As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will conceive, design and deliver innovative features that will be deployed to high volume consumer products. You will work closely with internal interdisciplinary teams and outside partners to drive key aspects of feature definition, execution and test. You will influence the technology decisions that will drive future products and features that directly affect our growth in this critical space.

　　In this role, you will:

　　Write great code to ensure the highest standards of quality in our products

　　Design and implement new automated tests that ensure that new features meet their specifications

　　Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices

　　Work closely with Software, Systems and QA Engineers to deliver a complete, tested customer solution

　　Develop tools to automate and accelerate the triage and root cause of customer issues.

　　Work in an agile development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff

　　Work with product management and cross-functional teams to build and ship technical solutions for the best customer experiences

　　Guadalajara, JAL, MEX

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a testing role.

　　4+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.

　　Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl.

　　A strong attention to details.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• C/C+• Databases

　　• 2+ years of experience in Linux or Android platforms

　　• Familiarity with building, testing, and verifying real-time or safety-critical systems.

　　• Ability to programmatically test any software product and develop automation for it.

　　• Experienced with designing tools and frameworks.

　　• Independent and entrepreneurial, showing the ability to work with minimal direction.

　　• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
